Hey Folks, my name is Jim and I am a brand new affiliate marketer. In fact, I created this web site using an affiliated marketing tool I found on-line. If you are like me, right now you are very nervous about diving into this making money on the internet program. I am here to try and provide some guidance and advice on how I approached affiliate marketing and some of the tricks I used to try and decipher what the good stuff is and what the bad stuff are.
Do Your Research on Affiliated Marketing!
First of all, do your research. I spent countless hours on the internet trying to find out how to affiliate market and profit at it. At the point that I found myself confident enough to dive into this endeavor, I looked at hundreds of the get rich fast links and software. None were worth the pages they were written on. I happened across Extreme Niche Empires and listened to and watched an introductory video. I was confident enough that this affiliate software was the one for me. For 47.00 it was well worth the investment. The affiliate software I purchased is one of thousands out there and you have to make sure you are comfortable with the package you buy. I was able to create two websites in the matter of two weeks. Pretty good for a guy who can barely turn on his computer. 
Making Money on the Internet is Not Easy..
Second, affiliate marketing is complicated. Don’t let anyone fool you. Anyone who tells you that making money on the internet is like taking candy away from a baby is wrong. You have to research, read and then research more and read more about all of the pitfalls and rewards to affiliate marketing. Currently, besides my nine to five job, I spend about 2-3 hours a night researching how I can be a successful affiliate marketer. There are so many different programs, CPA, PLR, PPC , Mobile and email opportunities to affiliate marketing that it takes a lot of time to find that right program for you.
Don’t be discouraged as one thing I can say about the affiliate network, is that it is exciting. Think about it, right now I have invested a total of 162.33 and I have five websites running on affiliate software and on a free site. This is a business you can start on your own and be as successful as you want to be. Did I make money on the internet yet, no, but I refuse to quit. My goals are clear and I know how much I would like to make with affiliate marketing and how much time I want to invest.
Don’t be fooled by the new shiny tool!
I wanted to add a very important message to all of the New Affiliated Marketers out there. As you do your research on Affiliated Marketing and choose a program that you feel comfortable with, I have to warn you, there is another 20 waiting to try and prey on your mind. Internet marketing, making money on-line is a great way to make money. However, don’t chase every shiny new dime that gets thrown at you every day. No lie, I must have looked at about 20 brand new money making pieces of software in the last 10 days. Every one promises to make you millions on line, and that simply isn’t true. Take it from me, it is alot of work. There is no such thing as one click riches. If there were, why would they sell it? Take your time and check out programs with results. I’ve recommended some on my site here and they can make you money on-line, but it will take time.
Don’t get discouraged, special message
So, you’ve tried everything you’ve read, listened to, heard about and bought right? And when you log into your Clickbank, Commission Junction and Amazon Accounts you see big fat zeros. Frustrates the hell out of you doesn’t it? Making money on-line is not a click and rich endeavor. It can take weeks, months and years to make a little to cover expenses. My message tonight is to stay focused with affiliated marketing and making money on-line. Maybe you need to take two steps back to move one forward. Maybe you need to try something different. Maybe your niche is writing books for Kindle or Nook. Maybe your a techy and want to build tools. Don’t forget the World Wide Web is wide open. Pick something that interests you and keep plugging at it. Folks, the honest truth, the days of easy money on-line is over. You have to have something people want and deliver. Take a breather…relax and focus and when you do make that first dollar, treat it as a milestone!
In conclusion, take your time with affiliate marketing; it’s going to be around for a long time. Don’t be fooled by the get rich quick scams out there or making free money on the internet. It’s not true. Invest in good software and do your research on the exciting field.
